5 Ways to Save Money on Godaddy Domain Registrations

As an internet marketer and SEO guy, I analyze, research and buy a lot of domain names every week. Luckily, I have a trick or two for saving a TON of money on these domain registrations. Stop paying regular prices of $13.95 whatever and learn how to dig deep for those hidden Godaddy promo codes, coupons and discounts. Here’s how I do it:

1. Search RenewalCoupons.com

Renewal Coupons is updated regularly and I’ve saved over 80% on domain registrations using this website. The problem was bigger sites like FatWallet and RetailMeNot is the codes usually never work for me. When you register a lot of domains, this becomes a problem. Renewal Coupons has the best deals.

2. Search Twitter

Another good place is Twitter. Go to Twitter Search and type in keywords like “Godaddy promo” “Godaddy coupon” etc. You’ll find some nice coupon codes that you can use a few times here.

3. Scott Sigler’s Deals

I don’t know this guy but Scott’s coupon codes are money in the bank! Definitely deserves a hat tip.

4. Open Multiple Godaddy Accounts

After a while, you will exhaust your coupon codes and none of them will work. Godaddy made a change back in 2012 where you cannot abuse the same code over and over gain. It sucks. But there’s a workaround, open another account to save on the registrations. Then reuse the same codes a bunch of times and save a lot of money!

5. Join the Domain Discount Club

This tip is for bigger SEO’s who own a large portfolio of domains. You have lots of renewals that can add up a lot. All the renewal codes stink so you should join the Discount club and it’s only $8.49 per renewal. Compared the the $14+ average renewal, you only need to renewal 10-15 domains to make it worth your time.
